I began Nick’s French classes in fifth year. Before attending Nick’s classes I was really unsure of my level of French and was overall not very confident with French as a subject. When I began Nick’s classes, I was instantly reassured. Nick explained everything in a very clear and matter of fact manner and I quickly realised how manageable French was as a subject. I began to really look forward to Nick’s classes, his fun but effective approach to Leaving Cert French really allowed me to actually enjoy the French language in itself. In sixth year, I was so grateful for Nick’s straight forward study plan. It really helped me keep on top of my French study with very little stress. I started doing Nick’s French grinds in the middle of 5th year. I was struggling with French at the time but as soon as I started the grinds my attitude towards the subject changed.
